Genetec Stratocast / Comcast 'Motion Insights' Examined

Comcast recently announced "SmartOffice Motion Insights", an extension to their Genetec OEMed cloud video service (covered by IPVM here).

This follows a trend. For example, at ISC West 2018, Alarm.com, Axis, Eagle Eye Networks, and others were marketing solutions using security cameras to provide business data analytics to SMB customers. 

Now, an update to Genetec's Stratocast platform adds similar functionality to what Comcast OEMed version released.
