Dahua USA Sales Team Cuts - 'Strategic Right Sizing'

Published Dec 18, 2018 16:18 PM

Dahua USA finishes a tumultuous year in which it acquired the Flir SMB business, was subject to the US government ban, terminated and restructured its manufacturer rep firms, and brought in yet another head of sales

Now Dahua USA has conducted a "strategic right-sizing," according to Dahua USA VP of Sales Wayne Hurd

In this note, we share feedback from Dahua USA on the move and analyze its impact on Dahua going forth.

Maybe if Dahua did not fire people right before Christmas they would not be in the news?

If someone is making you read this and you are in the US call the police.

If someone is making you read this and you are in China......................

The acquisition further complicated Dahua USA's situation in that it combined the branded Dahua sales team which does not have a sales leader with the Flir SMB business which does.

Seems like a perfect match:

A brand without a leader

A leader without a brand

Not surprised as dahua does not care about any employee. Their track record speaks for itself. The downfall started when they let One sales leader from south America ruin the company.  Clueless as always. Dahua wants to be oem only

Lol, really, Dahua only had problems when William Chow came in? Come on. I am not discounting the issues with him but Dahua clearly had problems beforehand, given that Chow was China USA exec #3 in a one year period, yes/no?

Your correct. Dahua had issues from day 1 but chow was horrific and clueless.

Dahua happens to be the most dysfunctional company I've ever worked for. And when I say dysfunctional, It's bad. Leadership never has had a clue and it doesn't sound like that has changed.....

Add in What I've heard about the fear mongering leadership approach of Wayne Hurd, My only recommendation to anyone looking at a gig with Dahua is ----- RUN!

Yeah, I am seeing some resumes from Dahua. Good people that could help them.

Dahua will not adapt to local ways. And as far as I am concerned that is just fine.
