ONVIF Hides Dahua And Hikvision Test Tool Blockage
While Dahua and Hikvision have been blocked from obtaining ONVIF conformance for nearly 2 years, ONVIF is hiding this on its own website, causing confusion and conspiracy theories as non-ONVIF conformance becomes an increasing factor in rejecting Dahua and Hikvision.
This has emerged, most publicly, when Hikvision lost a massive $70+ million deal in Italy recently over not being ONVIF conformant.
However, ONVIF refuses to make this clear on its own, even though they acknowledge that this is the truth.
