Milestone has dropped ISC West, joining a long list of companies to cancel while the show's organizer's Reed and SIA are determined to go on.

Beyond Milestone's size itself, Milestone's booth impacts 20+ other companies, whom they host.

Inside this note, we share feedback from Milestone as well as corporate sibling Axis and competitor Genetec.

This is the right decision. I cancelled my trip yesterday...

After all the complaining on this board about Reed Exhibitions in the last few days, it was likely already being considered.

With Milestone, it could have went several ways.
1) Milestone cancelling.
2) Too many partners cancelling on Milestone.
3) Milestone and other major vendors already having insight that Reed was postponing.

I agree. My #3 was a nice way of putting it. I'm sure where were many discussions between the top vendors and Reed about this.

On another note, when I cancelled yesterday, Reed representatives explained that my paid education sessions were non-refundable. I followed up after the official announcement earlier today and was assured that those would now be credited for July.
