Hytera Touts Canadian Government Contracts, Canadian Government Responds
Hytera, NDAA prohibited and criminally indicted in the US, claims legitimacy from a series of contracts signed with the Canadian government in a conversation with IPVM.
This comes less than a year after the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) suspended a Hytera contract over national security concerns in December 2022.
In this report, we examine Hytera's claims, the Canadian government's response, and how Hytera is using the contracts to claim legitimacy.
