Guys - Is there any way for you to scrub the text dictation in the Q&A? The use of "HIV" ilo "HID" looks bad and may distract the reader from the overall message. I was distracted at least.

Hello Geoffrey - I edited the transcript to replace 'HIV signal' with 'HID Signo' and several other obvious fixes.

This particular transcript had lots of niche abbreviation terms and presenter connection issues, so the end result was worse than others. Thanks for pointing out the obviously bad interpretations to fix!

On this slide deck it shows standard does not support the EV2 MiFare credential but I saw another HID document in theHID Releases Lower-Cost Signo Readers post that shows it does. Can this be confirmed?

Also, Jim said they are not going to use config cards. Many features have not been available in reader manager such as changing the wiegand outuput format of the keypad setting. Can this now be done in reader manager? Can a config card still be used with Signo?

Finally, is the appendix available? I had planned to attend live but was pulled away.

Hello Chris: HID says Signo standard profile supports both EV1 and EV2.

Can this now be done in reader manager?

Yes, screenshot:

Can a config card still be used with Signo?

That's an interesting question. I'll ask HID to confirm, but I believe the answer is no.

I'll post here with their answer.

Thanks Brian, your screenshot is for the reader communication to the host. I am asking about the keypad output. Previously, any change to the keypad output format had to be done with a config card. The keypad output format and will vary by panel manufacturer and is different from the reader to host communication. In a broader sense, is 1) EVERYTHING in reader manager now, or 2)Signo readers have less flexible configuration and everything that can be configured is in reader manager, or 3) config cards can be used on Signo if the feature is not available in reader manager and the reader supports the same configuration options as the multiclass readers?

Ah, I see. I will ask HID to elaborate on that.

On the questions about the utility of the app vs. config cards, I'll push for clarity.
