Hanwha Techwin Rebrands To Hanwha Vision
South Korean video surveillance manufacturer Hanwha Techwin is rebranding to Hanwha Vision. This comes 6 years after Samsung Techwin became Hanwha Techwin following the 2014 sale of Techwin from Samsung.
This has caused some surprise and confusion as to what this means for Hanwha in video surveillance, especially given the company's surging position in the industry (for background, see Top Manufacturers Gaining and Losing 2022 and Hanwha Techwin Financials and Future Examined).
For its part, Hanwha Techwin Vision told IPVM that they are "fully committed to our video surveillance and security business."
