Did this camera go up in price, or where do you see the QNV-7010R online for $150?

The MSRP of this unit is $429.00, and at max Gold partner level with Hanwha at 55 off list, that comes to $193.05

Good question, thanks. I looked into this. We definitely purchased the camera for ~$150. I believe it must have been during a sale. I've updated the report to ~$230 online, which is the average it sells for from multiple distributors.

Also note that there is now a lower cost Hanwha line, as well, the L Series, though it does not (yet) include 4MP models, only 1080p.

Did you purchase the QNV-7010R or QND-7010R? One is dome, one is vandal dome, but different price points it seems.

Might be worth noting here that like hik there are different focal lengths available and these have different LED ranges and are the same price so a 4mm or 6 mm may give better results if looking at a 65 ft scenario at night

Jerome, thanks, that is worth calling out. But note: We tested at 60'+ because they specified 65' IR range on the QNV-7010. We do not test beyond camera's IR specs unless there's a specific reason to do so. I agree you'd probably have better results with the 7020 or 7030 at that distance, but at the expense of 30-50° angle of view.
