Favorite Access Control Credentials 2022
Choices for credentials are expanding, with more marketing for mobile, biometrics, QR codes, and more. But what are the favorite ones and which are gaining or losing ground?
More than 250 integrators named their preferred access credential types during an IPVM survey in which we asked, "Which option below is your favorite credential?" and respondents chose from:
- 125 kHz
- 13.56 Mhz
- Biometrics
- The Cheapest Option
- Mobile
- Others (e.g. PINs, QR Codes, Magatripes, etc.)
In this report, we analyze the responses and compare the market changes to our 2020, 2018, 2016, and 2014 results.
