We stopped using Pelco years ago. This must be why I never see DOA cameras! LOL
Stats: IP Camera Dead On Arrival (DOA) Decline, Near Zero
New IPVM integrator statistics show that IP camera DoA rates have declined with zero dead on arrival units for many integrators and effectively zero for many more, a decline from 2015 reported failure rates.

Arecont notwithstanding, the decline in DOAs shows that camera hardware has become increasingly mature and reliable.
Could it also suggest less people are using Arecont?
Possibly true, but if so I have a West Coast subcontractor that has a high DOTC (Dead on Technician Contact) rate.
