I'm surprised they made little to no mention of Eagle Eye. I wonder if\how the two sales teams integrate or pass leads and how much growth comes from that. Does Brivo want to downplay the tie to Eagle Eye so they are perceived as agnostic?

How is Qumulex doing? Brivo/Eagle Eye is one of the few cloud access/video combos out there, but they aren't a single platform... yet.

There was no mention of Eagle Eye at the Imperial presentation. Also, they are separate companies, not in the Canon / Axis / Milestone sense, but because Dean Drako, the founder of Eagle Eye, bought Brivo directly.

How is Qumulex doing?

They are or are shortly starting to ship their first product. We plan to test it in the near future.

ACS100 = more fun for the patent attorneys. Have my doubts about seeing a Q2 release of that.

Allegion owns a number of patents as a result of their Isonas acquisition (all public knowledge) that anyone making an edge reader controller has to navigate. Not to mention HID as well with their edge reader controllers.

There could be intellectual property protection in place between parties that could affect how Brivo can go to market with this type of product. Depending upon who is making this product for Brivo (outsourcing some or most of the actual firmware and hardware production would seem to be likely) is where the issues could rear their heads.
