Milestone Stops PRC China Partnerships, Drops Dahua and Hikvision
Milestone has discontinued technology partnerships with "mainland China" companies, including mega-manufacturers Dahua and Hikvision, the company confirmed to IPVM.
6 years ago, Milestone rival Genetec expelled Hikvision, commencing a rising level of scrutiny of PRC companies in this industry. And last month, the region where Milestone is HQ'ed in Denmark, banned Hikvision purchases, calling them a "critical threat to security".
