Looks cool, but I'm reserving judgement until you guys actually test this thing.

Per Axis' math, DW's pano is also 33MP|30 as well. [full disclosure, I am DW's CTO]... 48MP|15 is still the highest in the industry right now.
Hi Ian.
It sounds like you know what the exact pixel count is of the Axis sensor. And I know I you know the DW's. Can you share?
Also, is your pano coming with any camera side stiching?
Q3709-PVE
Axis now has a marketing video. There's not much terribly interesting except that their camera demo of a hockey rink is not using their camera, which is a weird / misleading approach.
...their camera demo of a hockey rink is not using their camera, which is a weird / misleading approach...
Say that again. How wide is the AOV in the final shot? < 90 right? Certainly not 180. Worse than that, one would be left with the distinct impression that the camera produced a single stitchted, de-warped image. Or at least three uncurled ones that would fit together seamlessly as shown...
So what is the video's purpose, to show that 1 + 1 + 1 = 3? That's what I'd call a hat trick...
Note: The model number is incorrectly listed as Q3079 in the article.
