Puffery - "The 'Lies' Advertisers Can Legally Tell You"
One ongoing theme at IPVM is criticizing manufacturer marketing for misrepesentation. However, over the years we have mentioned 'puffery' - generally generic claims like "Our widgets are the best" or "Our cameras are the greatest" are generally protected but more specific ones like "This is an actual Arecont image" or showing an Axis camera but then showing video from a non-Axis camera creates more risk.
