I'm looking for a network camera bandwidth calculator tha't suiteble for all brands of camera's.
By searching on the net i found a few but i first want to check/ask here for some alternatives.

Network Camera Bandwidth Calculator Recommendations?

Jun 07, 2018Danny, the problem with bandwidth calculators is that they tend to be off by a lot. There are just too many factors going into bandwidth calculation for a tool to reliably come close. This is now even worse with smart codecs which decrease bandwidth significantly in general, but by varying degrees depending on the scene.
Net/net, I would not recommend any.

Jun 07, 2018A cheap tool would be to run your own PoE switch on the test bench. Ubiquiti Edge Switch and UNMS have some good tools for performing proof of concept and data analyzations. In time you will have enough data for the products you are selling to your customers.
