Bywater was a central executive at Vivint/Vivint Solar for the past decade being elevated to Vivint CEO in 2021 after Vivint's founder left. Replacing Bywater is an executive who has been at Vivint for less than a year.

Inside this note, we examine the change at the top of Vivint as a new era begins for the roguish organization and the acquirer NRG deals with the severe stock price hit from agreeing to acquire Vivint.

And other pressures from successful class-action lawsuits that reimburse the citizen alarm site by municipalities for unlawful fines/fees; and slow or no police response; and current research by powerful law firms. Many of us believe the “false alarm problem” will go away and credibility reinstated only when the monitoring center accepts responsibility for their errors and omissions and appropriate fines/fees, as the perpetrator. The new AVS-01 could be the answer, but it too will fail, because monitoring firms still refuse to take any responsibility for UPR/Unnecessary Police Response.
