Uniview is marketing #UNVagainstCOVID19 with their Heat-Tracker series, including not only thermal camera screening systems, but options for face rec terminals and gates with integrated temperature measurement, as well.
In this report, we look at Uniview's Heat-Tracker series, how it compares to competitors, and potential outlook.
For TIC600 I don't know... But for the OET-213 (the tablet with thermopile), it's a full Uniview IPC with same features, including Onvif, WDR, even cloud function...
At the end of the month the results (face+temp) will be displayed directly on there "VMS" (called EZStation)
Can't say... But we tested their solution in our office in France, not sure I can post the vidéo there...
We compared the mesurements (around 40) with common infrared thermometer (used the one of my childrens), made that comparison on 2 adults and 2 childrens, at different times.
There is a gap between the 2 solution, around 0.4 degrees, this is the reason why the alarm is setup at lower temperature on OET-213H than what it should.
But this gap stay quite the same between different mesurements. It's a good thing.
Later I tried it on glass with hot water, and the gap is getting bigger (up to 1.2° when higher than 41°). That's not so important as the device is not made for temperaute mesurement up to such temprature, but only to confirm if ther is fever or not.
Need to say we are Uniview distributor for years, but never sold any of their solution without testing (and decided not to sell numerous of their entry level products !) as we got a solid reputation in France .
If you got any question on Thermopile solution let us know. We will receive a TIC600 next week, and will be able to let you know the result of it.

Is there any medical backup that says doing IR temperature measurement on your wrist is an acceptable form of temperature measurement?
