Where the Anixter comments from end-users?

All the comments from this report are from integrators, ergo, "reported by 150 integrator survey respondents."

I'm really surprised! I was sure ADI is first and Tri-Ed is second, is in general sales numbers the ranking is the same?

How are you sure? Based on what?

As the title of the report says, this is based on video surveillance integrators. Tri-Ed no longer reports breakdowns of sales but when Anixter acquired Tri-Ed in 2014, Tr-Ed reported only 40% of their sales from video surveillance. Moreover, in our experience, Tri-Ed tended to be more home / residential focused than ADI.

What integrators reported here is very consistent with numerous quantitative surveys and various anecdotes of integrators far more likely choosing ADI over Tri-Ed.

Just based on experience and general knowledge, i assume that on video surveillance it's a little different.

I would be interested to see a generic survey as who is the distributor that receives the major part of an integrator business (alarms/fire/AV/other security)

We don't cover fire and AV so we would not attempt to rank or report on that.
