SIA Calls For Transparency About NDAA Compliance
In response to Congress probing ADI over its Dahua and Hikvision sales, the US Security Industry Association told IPVM they recommended providers be transparent about NDAA compliance.
A lack of transparency has been a major problem as sellers typically tout being NDAA compliant but hide products they sell that are NDAA-banned.
In this note, we examine SIA's remarks to IPVM and problems with sellers actually being transparent.
