Responding to Motorola's CEO's call to fund the "rip and replace" of PRC-China-made products, the US Security Industry Association (SIA) has endorsed this.

We do support this great initiative that SIA and Motorola are doing, we are also concern that some Estates are still buying non NDAA TAA compliant systems, which in our view it presents a great vulnerability for those Counties, Cities and Municipalities. Plus, we should all support American Made products, especially in view of the many cyber-attacks to those systems made in China, because of their embedded devices in their sensors.

I foresee companies putting replacement projects indefinitely on hold until they are government-funded.
