Directory of 120+ Security Manufacturer Representative Firms

Author: John Honovich, Published on Aug 31, 2015

Below is a list of 120+ Security Manufacturer Representative Firms. These companies partner with manufacturers to represent them in specific regions. Typically, a 'rep firm' will represent one manufacturer for each product category (one camera line, one VMS line, one analytics line, one monitor line, etc.). They do not sell products but receive a commission for products sold in their territories.

This list was developed from member input. If other firms should be added, leave it as a comment or contact us.

Mid-West/Central US

North Eastern US / Mid Atlantic

It would be a great addition to the list if it could include the major product lines that each firm represents.

It's a good idea. My main concern is that keeping that updated is a lot of work as rep firms often change lines. I am not opposed to it but I would like to see how much interest there is in that. If you want this, agree with 1's comment above or a post a comment yourself.

IMO it would be a full time job to keep up with product line changes among the reps.

Just be assured that every product line a rep carries is "the best in it's class and carefully chosen to complement our other product lines."

Just a "heads up", the US is not the centre of the world.

The UK is the "centre", am I right?

3, instead of being a jerk, you can share manufacturer reps in other countries and we will be happy to add.

We obviously are not claiming anything about the US, this is simply what people have provided to us.

What manufacturer reps outside of North America would you like to recommend we add?

Morning John

How are you doing guy?

Please add us to your list of reps.

Thanks.

PS - You might want to do a write-up on the "odds and ends" that us reps are marketing these days. In my case, I just pick up a Marketing & PR company out of New York that focuses on the security industry exclusively and at all levels from the manufacturer to the provider and everything in-between.

Just a through
