Are they relatively new vendors? How much does the company make?

They are a relatively new vendor, founded in 2016, their initial hardware offering, R1 cameras models had a DIY/residential form factor. They started shipping the new R2 models in the last 2 months, which is what we purchased.

What is their annual sales?

They are a private company so we don't know but I doubt it's much yet. LinkedIn shows 24 employees currently.

However, for a company at this stage, the bigger question is whether their revenue is about to shoot up, like Verkada did over the last 18 months, etc. Related, Rhombus hired Verkada's head of channel sales recently.

To the extent that their product performs, in our testing, similar to better than Verkada is a positive sign but it remains to be seen if they can pull off a similar sales trajectory / organization that Verkada has done.
