It's difficult to imagine Motorola continuing to sell Evolv in high volume for much longer. Evolv sells a form of analytics, and with analytics being such an important part of Moto's Avigilon security suite, it seems risky to continue associating the Motorola brand with Evolv's underperforming analytics (at least in comparison to marketing claims).

Motorola reps have had a bit of a strange way of talking about CWD with partners, in our experience. On one hand, they sheepishly downplay Evolv's missteps and tell you that Moto is much more upfront about what the system can and cannot do. On the other hand, they have to show the value in Evolv's technology, which seems to be getting harder to do with each incident and negative case study reported. It just seems like an awkward situation for Motorola, a company that is typically not shy in touting their technology as the best the market offers.

Admittedly, we have never sold or installed CWD/Evolv, so I am ignorant to whatever experiences other partners have had selling this system.
