There are two interesting differentiators worth pointing out vs Hikvision.
The first is that most of their professional cameras have a built-in microphone.
The second is that many of their cameras support SIP and they even have tested integration with Yeastar IP PABX.
Also their standard free VMS although not very scalable is easy to use according to our installers.

Freudian slip?
or understandable oversight?

The report from 2 years ago says they had 50+ engineers.
They've tripled that in 2 years?

"they prefer to grow slowly, allowing each distribution outlet to dominate in the area for a while and build the brand"...we were dealing with them in Italy around 2015/16 in a superfast market as cctv is it seems there hasn't been this growt ,at least not in our market since we don't work with them anymore and i've never heard about them since then....so i'd say yes, their desire to grow slow is answered....i remember they imposed a strict brand policy (no OEM, no rebrand) and that's seriouse about the company...at least it shows they were willing to emerge as a Brand
They had, at the time, some interesting products like some of the very first compact camera ( both bullet and dome)with p-iris a VMS that was less than ridicolouse and small compact NVR with 2.5" hdd (nvr had some kind of issue that i don't even remember anymore probably not enough troughput to support camera's resolution,or maybe heathing/cooling problem?)
they had SIP protocol and mic on camera that was usefull for doorbell sistems and domotic and that's mostly the reason why we aproached them but it just wasn't love and that's it

Are there any US-based distributors selling Milesight IOT products specifically the LTE routers?
