Could IPVM make tests evaluating the average time for a 10 to 20 people line to pass, and using one or two subjects in the middle of the line with a "high fever".
What about wearing glasses, I mean, with a mask on, and glasses on. There's little information for the device to match a face and make a good recognition.
Makeup, hair, etc. How well this devices perform on those scenarios?
We have been ordering more units, that appears to be a Bems relabel. We have been carefully trying to dig through the options and order the most commonly marketed units.
I have reached out to OneScreen for more information.
I just saw a news story that Jersey City will be rolling out about 45 of the OneScreen kiosks, to be used for temperature and face mask detection only in all courthouses, police, and fire buildings. I have no problem with companies and governments using this technology, but I despise misinformation. During the news story, it was stated @ 1:43s that the units are made in New Jersey. You can clearly see from the clip I grabbed from the video that they are made in China, and the MAC address can also be traced back to China. The company's US-headquarters are in San Diego, they have quite a few distributors in NJ, and even one in my hometown in a building where I can assure you no manufacturing is taking place.

Is Rockchip qualified as "NDAA compliant" SOC chip or technically capable of offering enough AI resources? The appliance of it surely brings down the cost.
Suggestion to test would be Speco. I did a test of my own and it detected no mask with a coffee cup and hand covering face, but did detect a mask with a dollar bill and cell phone.
