Instant Cloud For Hikvision - Manything
One ISC West exhibitor had a very specific and clear pitch - cloud for Hikvision:

isn't hikvision's cloud recording only for EZVIZ cameras though? Manything sounds like they allow Hikvision's Value series to record to the cloud which I thought Hikvision doesn't currently support unless that's changed.
Second, if they only allow upgrading from the international version, it sounds like USA branded authorized cameras don't work.
We've looked into another service like AngelCam that supports Dahua and Hikvision cameras as well.
...it could be attractive for those that do not want to use Hikvision / Ezviz's cloud infrastructure.
Though from a hardware perspective, they both use AWS infrastructure.
I changed 'infrastructure' to 'software' since regardless of what hardware is used, software plays a significant role in performance, security, etc.
Software plays a significant role in performance, security, etc.
For sure. Besides that difference, there is the question of what entity has control of your data, and whether you would rather keep your $ in this country.
