Latin America Deployments Plagued by Broken Cameras
Broken, defective, or otherwise inoperative cameras are plaguing large video surveillance deployments in at least three Latin American countries, calling the often-costly public investments in these systems into question.
In this report, IPVM highlights citywide implementations in Cali, Colombia's third-largest city, Monterrey and Puebla, Mexico's second- and fourth-largest metropolitan areas, respectively, and nationwide data on camera implementations throughout Peru.
