The original K3 model was lacking in features that the K7 model had and was the superior choice of the two. Now, there is a K3 "Pro" model from Testacy that looks to improve upon the K3, with a better UI and easier configuration. But how well did it work?
We tested the K3 Pro against the original K3 and the K7 wall mounted IR thermometers, examining:
How does it compare to the K3 and K7 wall mounted IR guns?
What improvements are there compared to the K3?
How accurate are these models compared to IR, oral, and tympanic membrane thermometers?
How do ambient conditions impact temperature measurements?
How does subject height impact usability?
How do they compare to thermal cameras that perform forehead readings like Hikvision and Sunell?
How do they compare to temperature kiosks that perform forehead readings like Aratek and TVT?
