Should option #2 of the poll actually be Cancel 2021 / Run in 2022?

Earlier this year we renamed our internal Slack channel regarding the show from ISCWest to ISCWhen. I was just about to rename it back, but I think I'm going to leave it as-is for now.
I'm kind of expecting the show to wind up falling on the 32nd of Neverary.

Its too soon to tell. Personally, I would go, so tired of being cooped up.

Maybe they can move the show to evening hours and visitors can spend the days in air conditioned rooms and huge swimming pools.

For me I assume 90% effective vaccine has been widely deployed by this time so I would be ok to attend this.

Security Sales got jokes:
Already? I guess they were waiting for ISC West to postpone later...

I do hope they have it in July
Yes it is hot in the summer in Las Vegas. Amazing that hotels sell out in the summer in Vegas and people take vacatins. I am in the age bracket to fear covid and I have worked and traveled and made sales calls all thru this epidemic. Crossed state lines, and along with 50 other people did a walk thru of a large city near Dallas 10 days ago.
I am not staying at home and would like the show to go forward. Yes I wear a mask and most part, keep 6 feet away but not always because some others dont.
The states I cover, I expect many will attend. Will it be as full as before COVID, I doubt it but you cant live your live in a bubble.
I am ready to go to Vegas.

How hot is Vegas in July? 104.2°FJuly is the warmest month in Las Vegas, with an average high-temperature of 104.2°F (40.1°C) and an average low-temperature of 81°F (27.2°C). I will pass, even if you stay inside @ the Venetian/Palazzo and never had to go outside its FRIGGIN HOT!

If there's a vaccine by then, count me in. If no vaccine, count me out.

What sounds more appealing to attend, ISCWest in Vegas during Summer or GSX in Orlando during late September? This is presumably going to be a question raised to a majority of the attendees.

Update, now IFSEC has been moved to July as well, the week before ISC West:

Many of us have depended on these shows for years to help us get more exposure, close more deals, meet with more of our integrators, build or continue to build relationships . "Face to face works." Plus seeing a product helps make a decision and gains excitement.
The Webinars being hosted by others instead of ISC West, ASIS, trade shows, haven';t brought me any new business. An inquiry or 2, yes but "Show me the money", as was said in Jerry Maguire".
Today we have a new way of doing business due to COVID,, holding more training and product webinars but again, " FACE TO FACE BUILDS RELATIONSHIPS"
So am I going to be there, YOU BET!
I saw someone say in past write up," it will be hotter "like that will drive down attendance, "SO WHAT"Most people spend their time inside where the AC works great, around a pool, or going from point A to B.
COUNT ME IN AND DO I EXPECT LOWER ATTENDANCE, PROBABLY, BUT I HAVE NEVER BEEN ONE TO HIDE IN A BUNKER.
"What counts is "building revenue".

This is some funny spam:
ISC West does not have the attendee list for 2021 ISC West...
