While IP camera warranties have increased over the years, the most common maximum is five years. Now, i-Pro (formerly Panasonic) is increasing its to 7 years.
A few 10-year IP camera warranties do exist, though those (i.e., Rhombus, Verkada) are hostage models, requiring paying annual subscription fees for the cameras to operate.
In this note, we examine i-Pro's new warranty, plus feedback to us on how it works, contrasting it to Avigilon, Axis, Dahua, Hanwha, and Hikvision.
