The poor Exacq support is disappointing. Why release a half finished product?

Camera-side dewarping would seem to be a poor substitute for robust client side dewarping.
Without client-side dewarping, you would either have to forgo dewarping altogether, or record multiple streams, incurring the additional network and storage costs and possibly licensing costs.
The Exacq dewarping video is less than two minutes long and the narrator goes "uhhh" twenty four times.
