There are another brands much accurate and highest performance like NEC , Cyberextruder , Cognitec than Anyvision I tested Anyvision in a non controled environment also HERTA and were the ones that give the worst results. For high challenge scenarios in my opinion are not the best choice.
I've had one customer ask about it for his apartment blocks that have constant problems with serious crime.
My response was, "You can't afford it."
This used to be much more commona decade or so ago. I would hear this request every single time we quoted a surveillance system. Facial recognition comes up rarely now. Even now that facial recognition is not particularly costly customers still ask about it, see the quote and deprioritize facial recognition in favor of more coverage or just fixing whatever 20 year old analog camera isn't working. I have heard "we pushed it to the next year budget" so many times I cannot count. As with switching to secure non-prox credentials something always seems to be slipped in front for budget consumption. Your method of instantly shutting the request down seems a better use of time.
Face recognition will become one of the most requested forms of security due to covid. Only the manufacturers that have been selling these products for many years know what they are doing and their products work. Others like Invid who buys from anyone and will sell to everyone, which relabels uniview or Longse are not very good and they are cheap and Chinese made. Same with Hik and Dahua as they sell to anyone. Good facial readers cost more because they work. $1300 dealer cost is not that expensive for a reader that is a proven product.
