Dahua Temperature Measurement Station Tested

By: Ethan Ace and Rob Kilpatrick, Published on Jun 17, 2020

Dahua hit the market hard with its original 'fever' camera (tested here). Now, they have a temperature measurement station, that costs just a fraction of the camera / blackbody system. But how well does it work?

IPVM Image

We bought and tested the Dahua DHI-ASI7213X-T1, examining:

  • Can it read taller and shorter people?
  • Does measurement differ with range?
  • How accurate are the measurements vs human body temperature?
  • How easily does it miss an elevated temperature?
  • How well does mask detection work?
  • Can it measure accurately on the move?
  • How well does it read with glasses, hats, masks?
