Simple it may be but the issue is the cost when we are doing all we can to NOT spend money. So at the moment 6 is working fine, does what we need it to do and is already paid for. Would I love to be at the latest version? You bet. Just isn't a requirement right now for the department or the company.
Right now this would be an easy sell because of all the manpower and hours we are committing to taking temps, doing walkthroughs to check that company policies on masks/social distancing are being followed and the hours spent viewing the footage for submitted complaints.
We have existing cameras covering the vast majority of employee entrances that could be redeployed to other needed areas if we had to upgrade cameras. So using this analytic at the main employee entrances along with some of other existing procedures could save money and possibly lives.
Basically right now anything and everything we can do to mitigate the possible spread of COVID is taking budgetary precedent. So really I am not sure I would need to do too much selling.

Would the hours saved and costs associated with those hours justify the cost of the ACC7 upgrade?
Over time it absolutely would but not sure about what that timeframe would be.

This report might get me some $$$ to purchase some cameras! Very nice.
Shoot just noticed ACC 7.8 and 7.10 only. I'm still in version 6....
