Anixter Security Slow Sales Continues Q1 2016

By John Honovich, Published Apr 27, 2016, 10:14am EDT

Anixter shook things up in 2015, paying $420 million for Tri-Ed.

Now, nearly 2 years later, Anixter's slow security sales continue.

I wonder if these results include Tri-ed and Clark Security? Anixter has a lot of exposure in IP Video being heavily entrenched with Axis. I wonder if/when Axis will start feeling the pinch from declining prices driven by HIK/Dahua and from the popularity of HD Analog.

Yes, they include all security.

And, for the same time period, Axis grew 5% organic in the Americas (see Axis Q1 2016 Financial Results).
