Mercury, Siemens Security, Vanderbilt, ACT and now ComNet.

While other companies are trying to get out of security, emerging conglomerate ACRE continues to expand.

In this report, we examine their acquisition of ComNet, how that fits into their portfolio, plus share feedback from ACRE's CEO.

I think ComNet is a fine race-to-the-bottom player due their selling (yawn) vanilla industrial switches with an unimpressive set of managed switch features. Not obviously secure stuff either. ComNet is one of those "com-who?" vendors you find when the integrator came up with some off-base answer to a request to install a decent industrial/managed switch.

In your opinion who makes a "decent industrial/managed switch"?
