Hikvision has led another press trip to China, and this time Hikvision's CEO is sharing insights into their competitive strategy, including Hikvision's price setting strategy and how China is a free market, a fascinating contrast to Hikvision's actual moves.

This is fascinating. He should come to the US and become a politician. Say one thing and do another has always been our motto.

He doesn't need to come here, he's taking notes...

In a surprising answer to a question from Mark Tarallo of Security Management Magazine regarding his personal style and philosophy, Mr. Hu responded, “When we started, we were not prepared, but we had passion and learned a lot from the U.S. A lot of thoughts, passion and interpretation in a lot of areas.”

Pickup up right after your quote is another telling statement:

"...China is the most free market in the world. Investors have benefits. They do have privilege.”

It's incredible how people can completely lie, know they are lying, and possibly know that there is a great percentage of people that know they are lying as well, and still think it's worth lying? It does sound remotely like US political talk but I don't think anybody could be that stupid as this individual.

It does sound remotely like US political talk...

Possibly a particularly bad year to compare lies, though.

Btw, here's some brazen lying:
