Thanks, Ethan for the report!

However, since the Optera stitches and flattens these streams prior to output...

This is defintely unusual. It would appear that the software is actually warping the 4 sensors into one panorama and then cutting them into four streams.

Is there any way to see the raw streams before proccessing? What kind of lenses are on the imagers?

They've done a fantastic job at integrating them, though, thats for sure.

No way to see / send the raw streams.

As for the lenses, Pelco responded:

The camera uses conventional fixed lensing with adequate MTF to resolve 3 MPixels all the way to the edges of the lens so there is uniform resolution across the entire image unlike a fisheye or panamorphic lens. The lenses are factory focused and locked in place and never need to be re focused.

That's correct, it can't be used with other multi imager cameras, only the Optera.

Will the Panomersive SDK fix the 'Darth Vadar' helmet view of the IMM12027 cam? I cannot find a link on Pelco's web site to download the SDK - does anyone have it?

This is normal for the 270 and can even be seen in Pelco's software.

The side by side comparison to a 12MP single sensor pano is interesting. It is surprising that even at 15' the Hik with IR looks to be relatively useless at night.
