Did you by chance check the processor utilization on the PC running the IVMS 4200 while doing the dewarping? I've been told that it's a real resource hog. I'd be curious also if you set up about 4 panoramic split views to cover the room and client dewarped them at the same time.

I just checked this on my laptop and it does indeed peg the processor. Viewing the full 9MP fisheye, my CPU usage is at ~30%. Dewarping to the 4 PTZ views, it spikes to over 90%.
I'll double check this on another machine, since I'm running iVMS in a VM, but it's a definite increase.
Can you list the main/sub-stream resolution options when pulling only a warped view? Spectrum needs a 720px or below stream to provide server side VMD. I know it was a limitation of previous Hik fisheye models. We had to rely on the Samsung and Dahua models due to this.
I believe there is a 720x720 substream. I'll have to plug it in and double check.
Ethan,
Thanks for the reply. Can you make sure that you can get the 720x720 warped sub stream simultaneously with the 12MP (4000x3000) warped main stream? Also, can H.264+ be enabled in this same scenario?
Hate to beat a dead horse, but this is what the datasheet says about this...
It seems as if you cannot get the full 12MP fisheye view when also pulling the substream (Mode 2). Is the datasheet incorrect? About to spec these on a project, but I need to be sure first.
Ethan,
I checked the Milestone webpage for compatibility and I saw Hikvision Fisheye already integrated, can you please check?
