IPVM Inspires PSIM-Challenger Startup Agora

Published Jun 28, 2016 15:07 PM

An IPVM member asked about Agora Systems in a discussion, a company we knew little about, prompting us to reach out to answer our member's question.

Agora's CEO provided details on their offering, and also told us our report: The Future of VMS, was part of his inspiration behind starting the company.

It was me that made the original enquiry, and the lack of responses made it clear that there was not a great deal of knowledge or there regarding Agora - thanks for this follow-up report

Any chance on a deeper analysis of the product, similar to your VMSes reviews?

Doing a test of this would be low priority as similar type products or offerings typically generate low interest among members. The reason being (1) the technology being offered is not fundamentally novel and (2) the company does not get many requests.

We are doing more VMS reviews though, next up is Axxon, and we will see from there.
