I can't vouch for it, but something like the CaseMate HD anti-glare screen protector wouldn't be hard to add to handle the glare, and for $15 versus a device price of $800, seems like a smart accessory to purchase.

May 06, 2015Hey Scot, good suggestion. I actually thought about that, too. I'm sure there's something that would fit this fine, considering there are Android and iPhone models larger than 4.3" now. We may order one and report back, as it would remedy a key problem here.

Am I understanding you right that all of your zooming and focusing was being done manually? The monitor does not have a way to access a cameras remote zoom/auto focus features, correct?

May 08, 2015Zooming and focusing can not be done on the included Tatung app.
It's possible, though not guaranteed, to use 3rd party Android apps to do this. For example, if Avigilon has an Android app that allows remote zoom / focus controls, you could try installing that on the device, and if it worked, you could then use that instead of the included Tatung app.
