Mobotix has published a extensive powerpoint deck that details their 2010 product plans for their cameras and IP video surveillance software. The roadmap includes a variety of technical details but perhaps most interesting is the increased focused on the banking vertical. [Note: The link to the deck has been removed. Given Mobotix's panoramic cameras and use of low cost NAS devices, Mobotix could substantially reduce the cost of deployment in banks and smaller retailers by eliminating up to half of the existing cameras as well as the DVR.

However, almost all of these sites (90% or more) still use analog cameras and DVRs. As such it will require replacing existing systems. With the hard cost savings, a mature Mobotix offering for retail/banking could be valuable to consider.
