Verkada Intercom TD52 Tested
Verkada is expanding its smart building strategy, releasing its first video intercom (TD52), but how well does it work?
IPVM bought and tested Verkada's TD52 Video Intercom against the 2N IP Style, and IP cameras from Hanwha QND-8011, Hikvision DS-2CD2543G2 , and Verkada CD52-E, inside this report, we examine:
- How good or bad does the Verkada TD52 perform, and what limitations were found during testing?
- How does the support of the TD52 differ within the various Verkada apps such as Desk Station, Pass, and Verkada Command?
- How well do echo cancellation and noise suppression work with/without added background noise?
- How good or bad are the automatic call annotations?
- What is the remote latency while viewing the video or on a call?
- What issues were found with the analytics?
- How does image quality perform in full light (~180 lux), low light (~5 lux), dark (<0.1 lux), and WDR scenes compare to other IP cameras/video intercoms?
