So, I have a question, with time, especially with geovision, an untouched camera, how does it get unfocused? No motorized lens, just a simple manual 2.8-12mm lens.

*** ******** ****:

**** ******* *** ********* *************. ** camera ** ********** ***** *********, ** willwear *** ********** *****. After few years (?) parts are so worn out that focus cant work properly.

Static *********** causes dust on camera dome and lens. Some older models had horrifying design flaws. Zoom and focus mechanic parts were made of plastic. When plastic turns to dust, static parts will work as dust collectors. Dust looks like camera is out of focus.

Temperature. High temperature variations can (and will) bend plastic. If camera frame is no longer in that shape that it should be, camera cant no longer focus properly.
