Are you looking for a standalone solution or do you plan to have it integrated with other systems? We use Connectwise which has a very good ticketing solution which integrates with every part of your business.
ideally, we'd like to integrate it with quickbooks, but that's not really necessary.
We did a recent survey on this: Integrator Technician Field Software Usage (Statistics) early this summer.
The 'bad news' is that more than 50% say they do not use any technician/customer field service software.
How many techs? What are the future plans?
We are a small company but decided to go the Conenctwise route (thanks Michael...). We feel it will solve a lot of issues for us once fully implemented, and it will scale with us.
If not looking to go that deep, there was a package called Razor Sync that we looked at last year that was nice. There was another one we used at a former company called Field Service Management by Corrigo.
