Someone made an "IPVM Sucks" video and asked us to share it:
The person also emailed us saying:
Hello there, we watched your most recent youtube video regarding ISC West expo. Fun to pick on a Chinese company to promote your lousy business. It won't cost that much to edit videos regarding your low business strategy. I will contact HIKVISION China to see if we can work together to make some fun vidoes to promote your business for free.
Do you have any plans to change your accusations to hold weitht in the future? Also, can you explain what weitht is, and why an accusation should hold it?
I think weitht is related to bushit... cuz we can...
I shared the link to this post to the person, asking:
Are you interested in having an actual conversation to talk about the merits of our criticism of these companies?
The person responded:
It's not criticism but bullying. When you said those harassing comments in your video, have you done any real life research instead of online googling?
I responded:

No response since but if they do respond, I will add here.
The person still has not responded since we informed him of our extensive testing.
The person has now responded, ignoring our testing, sending a new video that just adds a text overlay to the retired Air Force General video, screencapped for reference:
That's so strange. I think the editor needs to work on graphic design so the message is more clear. The red is a bit hard to read.
What exactly is a "white" Chinese company?
IPVM seems to targets many companies when they deserve to be called out. Verkada is the current company of interest and they aren't a Chinese company. I'm just not sure why anyone would spend this much effort on such a "small, very new American camera surveillance company." They must not like the fact that a small company can have a fairly large impact on the industry.
Now he has responded saying:

Again, I explained about our actual testing and sent the link to the peer reviewed scientific study.
I guess it’s just a video troll at this point.
You confused them with "facts" - for some that's a real deal kill you know!
Well John, I would suggest you cross off the PRC as a possible vacation destination; you just might wind up staying a lot longer than planned if you go. 🤣
Is the music original?
I did a Shazam 4 times and got 4 different results. It's probably the built-in demo from a cheesy Casio synthesizer (nothing against Casio). Or, if you right-click on the video and you'll see it was created/hosted by Wistia - might be a music clip from their library (The video hosting platform made for B2B marketers | Wistia).
Unleash the propaganda machine on IPVM! First need to learn how to spell because that's a dead giveaway.
I tried watching the video but so much of the next seemed to be lost in translation. The funeral home music was a nice touch. However, the ending made me laugh out loud with IPVM SUCKS! The entire video was full of lousy fonts but I think they nailed the ending, especially with that sound effect.
I can't imagine spending time editing this video. They must have a lot of passion.
What sucks in editing video is exporting it; only to discover that you accidentally did something like add a space in You Tube. Then you need to export it again. Or you just skip proofreading and send it directly to IPVM.
IMHO, this is fake Chinglish, designed to throw off suspicion*.

*HIKVISION in all CAPS is either a dead giveaway or brilliant misdirection.
At least get some entertaining up beat music!

At first I thought this was a parody video by John H to ridicule the idea that IPVM could possibly bully a giant PRC owned mega company luke HikVision.l. Then I realized that the content creator was serious. Did they think that John WOULDN'T post such a ridiculous self parody? Life imitates propoganda imitates life.
