What's weird about this story is that the dealer and the school are based in CA, yet the quote comes from LTS office in NJ. LTS branches and sales reps actually compete with each other and steal customers from each other. I used to receive sales calls from other LTS offices, trying to get my business. I had a situation at least several times, where products were out of stock in my LTS office, yet they were in stock in some other branch, but they would not allow me to get them, bc they wanted to keep it for their dealers. I also ran into some local store owners, like 7/11 or similar getting quotes directly from LTS at the location and with the dealer pricing. LTS sales reps are so desperate for business, that they will quote anyone who calls or walks in. If this happened to me, LTS would loose my entire business ($200k+/year) right away.
