IPVM Online Shows FAQ

IPVM Online Shows are a series of ongoing events that allow sellers to pitch their offerings, moderated by IPVM, to IPVM members, that will disrupt trade shows.

Below is the FAQ, let us know if you have any additional questions in the comments.

I am interested. How do I submit?

Send an email to OnlineShows@IPVM.com or Adam@ipvm.com and we will provide further instructions.

How long does each company have to present?

The session will be 30 minutes total. 20 minutes for a formal presentation (powerpoint, video or both) and the remainder for answering questions. IPVM experts will be asking questions during the presentation as well.

Can I do a live demonstration?

Yes, they are encouraged. IPVM will also provide a “practice" zoom session for presenters to test demonstrations/slides/videos prior to the show.

How are companies presenting?

IPVM utilizes the Zoom platform where presenters share their screen with our live audience.

How much does it cost?

It is free for presenters and IPVM members. Non-members wanting to attend a show can sign-up for a 1-month IPVM membership, which includes full IPVM membership plus attendance to a show.

What limitations does IPVM have for presenters?

IPVM will do a review of each presenter's presentation and give feedback. We will enforce some basic rules:

  • Avoid using fluff terms like unique, best, greatest
  • Explain why your company is better than its competitors.
  • Estimate the MSRP.

How will IPVM moderate the presentation?

IPVM will do a quick introduction, reminding the audience that the presenter has not paid, that IPVM does not endorse the presenter and that we aim to point out issues or questions that buyers should consider.

IPVM will ask questions on behalf of the audience at periodic times and moderate the Q/A period, both with our own questions and those from the audience.

How can attendees / prospects contact the presenter?

IPVM has added a lead generation tool, which allows show attendees to personally contact presenters. To be added, contact onlineshows@ipvm.com with the email you would like leads sent to. In addition, it is recommended that you include your contact information on your last slide.

How can presenters contact the attendees?

Attendees have to contact you. IPVM will not provide the names or emails of attendees to presenters.

Will presentations be posted on IPVM?

Yes, for each presentation, IPVM will create a post that includes the recorded video, a short written overview, the presenter’s contact information, and any comments that members want to ask. The presenter can directly answer comments on the post.
