Does Hanwha OEM?

Hi,  everyone

Regarding just a title, have anyone heard Hanwha does OEM shipment?

I think most Chinese, Taiwanese, and Korean manufacture does OEM shipment, but I have not hear Hanwha does it.

They clearly OEM Wave VMS from Network Optix.

And they OEM some B2C recorders.

I don't know about every Hanwha product, but overwhelmingly it seems Hanwha manufacturers their own products.

Have you ever heard that Hanwha has OEMs their products to some manufacturers? For example, Hik ships to Honeywell.

I cannot recall seeing that but I might be missing something. At least, it's not common, as it is with Dahua and Hikvision.

Was the hardware modified since the product changed hands from Samsung to Hanwha? Just loaded some new firmware on this old Samsung 7084, works great. What's under the hood?

What is under that heat sink? Just a guess...

Great! I'm dealing with different manufacturer camera, so it's very studyable to see the contents of a Hanwha camera. Do you also have images of other models?

No I just have a small pile of these 7084s from the Samsung era sitting here on the bench. I am getting a few dual imagers for an upcoming project, Ill take a peek inside when they arrive however I feel they are entirely different architecture; we'll see. I have an old Ipolis box camera with embedded lens...ill tear that apart tomorrow for fun.

If possible, it would be nice if you could show me the contents of the Dual Imager and Ipolis cameras. but of course if possible.

In 2009 yes, back when it was Samsung still. They had some Korean factories produce for them. Now I'm not sure.

Hanwha is now mostly produced in-house. I can trust their products.

By the way, have you ever heard that Hanwha has OEMs their products to some manufacturers like Hik shipping to Honeywell?

I think they donot OEM as to network camera but CCTV possibly.
