Do You Do/Recommend Door Key Control?

In the simplest terms, key control ensures each mechanical key is given to only a specific person and that no unauthorized copies are used/carried/etc. This concept is covered in Key Control For Access Control Tutorial. Not doing it can lead to major security problems.

Keys are often numbered/serialized in these systems, and that number is associated with a specific person:
